K4 (embroidery)
Hand embroidered thread on unstretched canvas. Made in 2019 from the residue of an adventure — K4 is named for four artists who traveled to Korea together to make a film. The shapes and colors that fill this piece were pulled directly from that experience, from costumes, from props, from the visual noise of being somewhere new and making something together. Abstract and instinctive, it carries the energy of collaboration and motion without spelling any of it out.
Like all of my embroideries, this is painting by unconventional means, thread as brushstroke, canvas as ground.
8.5 × 8.5 inches · Finished 2019 Exhibited: Site Cite Sight, Gallery 303, Group Show, Provo UT 2019
Shipping Policy
Each piece leaves our studio with the same care it was made with. Fine art originals are packaged with archival-quality materials to protect your work during transit, and smaller works receive the same attention appropriate to their size and medium.
Please allow 7–21 business days for your order to ship, depending on the complexity of the piece and packaging requirements. Larger or framed works may require additional preparation time to ensure safe arrival. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.
We are a small, independent studio — every order is handled personally, and we appreciate your patience.
Certificate of Authenticity
All original fine art works are accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity, documenting the title, medium, dimensions, and date of completion. This certificate travels with your piece and serves as a permanent record of provenance.
Return Policy
Your satisfaction and the integrity of the work matter deeply to us. Because each piece is an original, we handle returns on a case-by-case basis.
Returns are accepted under the following conditions:
The item arrived damaged due to shipping or packaging
You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging
Please include photo documentation of any damage when reaching out
Once a return is approved, a prepaid return label will be sent to your email. Refunds are issued after the returned item has been received and inspected, and are processed within 5 business days.
Please note: Because originals are one-of-a-kind, exchanges may not always be possible. We will do everything we can to make it right.
Questions? We're always happy to hear from you — reach out before or after your purchase and we'll take care of you.
